Rick has been a valued member of our team since June 2021. He and his wife, Pat, chose the tranquility of Oliver over the bustling Lower Mainland in 2017, drawn by the warm dry summers, excellent winter sports, and the allure of local wines.

During the summer months, they enjoy cycling and leisurely moments around Tuc el Nuit lake with their human and 4 legged family members.

In winter, Oliver transforms into a winter wonderland, offering opportunities for skiing, curling, and snowshoeing that Rick and his family eagerly embrace.

We know that if you have had the chance to meet Rick, your day has inevitably gotten brighter.

Favourite Fairview Cellars Wine and Why: For anyone who has been to the Fairview Tasting Room you probably already know, the Cabernet Franc of course;) Big, bold, dark flavours and it can stand the test of time. I also really enjoy the Merlot. Any where, any time.

Aspect of Your Role that brings the Most Joy: My fellow Fairview people. They are a really great group to spend time with. I also love talking to people about wine and our little piece of paradise.
